Xbox Dev Mode is now officially FREE!

It’s finally that time y’all have been waiting for.
For the first time since Retail Mode access ended back in August 2023, you can once again run emulators on Xbox One and Series X|S—this time through Dev Mode, which is now free* to access!
No more $19 registration fees or paywalls—Microsoft has officially lifted the barrier, making Dev Mode available to everyone at no cost, opening the door to homebrew and emulation once more (this time without risking suspensions, bans, or violating the TOS).
This is a major milestone for the scene, and we’ll be sharing updated guides and news in the coming weeks to help you get started. Stay tuned!
